I love Longfellow’s Wayside Inn. Not only is it the oldest operating Inn in the country (it’ll be celebrating its 300th birthday in 2016), it’s in an absolutely stunning corner of Sudbury, MA, serves delicious food, and you can buy their own AMAZING corn meal and whole wheat flour from the grist mill on site (you may be familiar with said grist mill, if you’ve ever seen the Pepperidge Farm logo). Plus, you might accidentally find yourself in the middle of a bunch of well-armed Red Coats.  Red-CoatsWe decided it would be a great place to shoot Sarah on an almost spring-like sunny day in early March. It was one of those hopeful days, when you start to think you might just be able to get away without a hat, for a few minutes at least. By the WaysideBy the WaysideBy the WaysidePerhaps the best thing about the Wayside Inn is that they have such a long history of strangers stopping by that no one really blinked an eye at us. Just another group of wayfarers, passing through.
