Admittedly, I was a little surprised to wake up this morning to a blanket of white snow. Not that it’s out of the ordinary, today is February 5th after all, but this past week was so warm that the thought of snow accumulation never crossed my mind. TJ and I actually managed to spend all day last Sunday (January 31st) out shooting (without gloves or cold fingers), which was absolutely not the case the day in November we had this shoot with Amy and the Engine.

That day was bitterly cold and windy, and we had no choice but to crank out these shots in under 30 minutes, including a warm up break half way through. Luckily my car is always filled with strange props, and these guys have a ton of personality, so it was pretty easy to capture  some great promo shots for this awesome band.

If you haven’t heard of Amy and the Engine, you need to go listen to their song “Arrows” right now.  I’ll be listening to it on repeat to get me through this snow storm.

Stay warm out there-
