Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland celebrates its 150th anniversary next week (on November 26th), so it seemed like a fitting time to share this set I did with Caitlin back in July. I’d had a month of complicated shoots with hair and makeup artists and stylists, so many people and voices- I needed something that was very me. Luckily I’d had the idea for a sophisticated Alice photo in my head for over a year, and I just happened to already have made a white rabbit mask and flamingo. And, I mean, who doesn’t have an oversize pocket watch just lying around?
