Mountain Aisle

Not all of us wind up with barefoot weddings in the woods, ethereal boho dresses, the perfect June day. But that’s what pictures are for.

Faux Bridal

For our second collaboration with Green Love Wedding Planning, I remembered that day in March I’d spent in Old Furnace, the mountain laurel I’d planned to use when it bloomed, and the lushly green moss.  We waited until June when we couldn’t wait anymore, then all met up in Killingly with bags of white dresses, flowers, and fabric, ready for a morning of playing dress up.

Alas, there were still no blooms to be found. Maybe another year. We had fun anyway.

Beautiful image. I love the dress and setting. She looks like a wood nymph!
